Terms of Service

Last updated 18 August 2026.

The short version

Read anything you like for free. If you buy a personalised report it is yours to keep and to use inside your business. The figures are computed from public federal data and are offered as evidence for a decision, not as a promise about how that decision will turn out. Do not resell the data as a product of your own.

Everything below says that at greater length, and adds the parts that matter only when something goes wrong.

Who these terms are between

The operator of NextTerritory has not yet been named as a legal entity here, and no governing law is stated. Until that is filled in, treat these terms as the operator's good-faith description of how the service works rather than as a complete contract.

Using the site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

What the service is

NextTerritory publishes market intelligence for residential exterior home-improvement services across US metropolitan and micropolitan markets: demand estimates, an opportunity score, competitive measures, county detail and historical trends, computed from public federal data.

It is a measurement and a model, not a recommendation, and not a guarantee that any market will perform in any particular way.

Free access, and the paid report

The site is free to read and no account is needed to read it. Buying a personalised report requires an account, which is created with an emailed sign-in link — there is no password.

A purchase is a one-time payment for one market and one service line, and does not renew. It is not a subscription and there is no recurring charge. Payment is handled by Stripe; card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and never reach this service.

What a purchased report entitles you to

A permanent entitlement to that market and service line: you may download it again at any time, in any offered format, at no further cost. Every format of one report costs one credit between them.

You may use a purchased report inside your business and share it with your own advisers, lenders and partners. You may not resell it, republish it publicly, or redistribute it as a dataset or as a product of your own.

Refunds

A report is a file, and a downloaded file cannot be returned. There is therefore no automated refund. If a document was materially not what the page described, or a purchase went wrong, get in touch — refunds are given case by case and in good faith.

Accuracy, and what is not promised

The underlying data is published by federal agencies and is reproduced and modelled here in good faith. It carries their revisions, their suppression rules and their vintages, and modelling adds assumptions that are stated in each report.

The service is provided “as is”. No warranty is given that any figure is accurate, complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, and nothing here is a representation that a market will produce any level of revenue.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, tax or real estate advice. It is market data and a published model. Decisions about where to open a branch, what to spend, or whether to raise capital are yours, and should be taken with advisers who know your business.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site in bulk, attempt to circumvent the paywall, resell access, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use it to build a competing dataset. Do not submit anything unlawful through it.

Automated access at a volume that degrades the service for others may be blocked.

Who owns what

The federal source data is public domain and belongs to no one. The model, the scores, the written analysis, the design and the arrangement of the material are the operator's. Third-party names and logos shown in competitive sections belong to their owners and appear as factual reference only — their appearance implies no endorsement, affiliation or partnership in either direction.

Accounts and termination

You may delete your account and its data at any time by asking. Access may be suspended for a breach of these terms. If access is ended for any reason other than a breach, reports already purchased remain available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or business decisions taken on the basis of anything published here. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid for the report in question.

Changes

These terms may change as the service does. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.

Questions about these terms: contact the operator.
